paypal scam

I recieved an email on friday in one of my email address's that I hadnt used for over 3 months with youve got funds someone has deposited 42.30 into my account and its been there since the 28th March. I keep getting conflicting messages of paypal some saying you can withdraw it and the other said they would look into and tell me the result in the next 72 hours that was friday. Ive looked online and seen a few scams relating to this but none where money has been deposited and just left. What should I do ?. This email was actually addressed to me as well not just dear customer.

I logged in using an external link not the one provided in the email which was actually in my name. The money is actually in my account and I have spoken to paypal customer service and the money is actually there. I am worried that if I take this money out of my account they may try and claim it back further down the line as I dont actually know who it was who sent the money and previous to this there had been 2 transactions by a company I had never heard of called nexon america which straight after they took the money out refunded the money back. The funds have been there since the 28th of march.

So you're worried that if you spend £42 that isn't yours, you might have to give it back at some point?
