... I tried to send an e-mail from the website. Despite several attempts, it could not be sent.
It seems that Kalixa don't know much about web browsers. My default browser is Firefox and I couldn't communicate. Trying IE worked, so presumably Kalixa is only configured for IE..0 -

Free loading of the Kakixa card is via Maestro card (immediate) or bank transfer (up to 7 days). I made a bank transfer yesterday morning which promised credit within two hours. Checking the Kalixa account today, the credit is already there and I could select my PIN online.
Just waiting for the card ...0 -
I have had no problems with Kalixa - its a fee free card if loading from your bank account & you use the card at least once every six months
I have one small gripe though
Some companies charge/reserve a small 'test' amount to your card to check its valid - on most cards you either never see this or if you do it disappears pretty quickly from your 'available balance'
With Kalixa the amount appears as an actual transaction and stays there for 30 days & then gets reversed
First time this happened I phoned up as I was a bit worried so just warning people to avoid you wasting time doing the same0 -
