We are hoping to go to florida in april 2008, we need plently of time to save for it, the thing is we are terrible at saving and if we did save we would probadly dip into it at some point! so we have thought that we may book now and pay it of in bits..
my questions are
am i going to be payin above the odds by doing this
would it be better to get a package or book flights, accom ect seprate

Not sure if u can book yet, flights might not be available yet, we are going next oct and it was only a few months ago the flights were available, we are with first choice.

Saving wise, you could save monthly and put it in a high interest account and you cant access easily, we are terrible with saving, we are paying off monthly and just going into travel shop to pay towards it.

Look at https://www.thedibb.co.uk this is a forum dedicated to all things florida and has everything on there including accommadation.

We have chosen a package as we found it cheaper, best bet to look at the main sites ie virgin, first choice, travel city direct and compare quotes.

I know people who book the cheapest package then dont use the accomadation with it and book that seperate themselves, this seems to be cheaper than booking it seperate all together as the flights alone can be real pricey.

If you're booking a flight to Orlando next April make sure you book it as soon as they are available as they sell out really fast.
You may not have this problem though as Easter is 21-24 March in 2008 so may not clash with the U.S. spring break.
We're going this April and are very excited!:j :j :j
