E-Sure buyers beware

Applied on-line for E-Sure car insurance with all my correct details, and then rang them twice before taking up the insurance, this morning my documents arrived with 3 mistakes on them. I rang them to change the mistakes listed below:-

1. We live on 3/4 acre with own gated drive -E-sure had changed this to 'Parking' - Roadside outside Residence.

2. I am an internet trader - E-sure changed this to 'scientific & Technical.

3. My Wife had an accident in my car (Her fault) E-Sure changed this to myself having the accident & my fault.

Result my insurance jumps nearly £50. Now its no longer the most competitive quote out there. I have no 14 days right of cancelling it without they charge me £26. I told them to cancel anyway. The insurance hasn't even started yet.

Others beware when your documents arrive.

Seems dead odd that if you put the information in correct online it would arrive different =/

price comparison website, who knows if the things are linked as they should be and are transferred correctly.

Ah you really need to go back and amend the quote and check every page before you accept just in case... as this can happen =/!

I've put in info before on price comparison sites and its put my mileage as 4000 (instead of 12,000) and put that I park my car overnight in a garage when I dont... Seems to do whatever the heck it wants.

I've just had the same, changed where the park is parked, removed the car body type, and repeated the first part of the address.
