hi i brought my hubby a secondhand iphone today the guy said u just conect to itunes then of you go but it wont conect as its asking for password on phone which i havent got has anyone got any tips ? thanks in advance

    It sounds like it hasn't been reset to factory settings. To do this, you will need the password, so you'll have to ask they guy you bought it from.

    How well do you know this guy? If he sold you a phone that is locked with a password, I'm thinking this is someone elses iphone and they have used mobileme to lock their phone remotely.
    It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

    oh i really hope not i brought for £100 which took me ages to save , my hubby never wants or asks for birthday presents etc i made his day when i told him , will go to shop tomorrow thanks guys x

    thats a good point!

    You could also ask apple to check the serial number on the phone-see if that brings anything up?

    £100 for an iPhone does seem cheap, but hopefully the password is just an oversight and a reset to factory settings will make it like new.

    Is it asking for a password or a 4-digit code?
