They never said it annoyed them, they just asked a question, i don't see why people are jumping at the OP. I do agree, however, that you had the money and so have to pay it back, as said before, just call them and say you can't afford what they are saying you have to pay and just pay back a smaller amount over a longer time (if that is the issue you have)
no they didnt say it but its the impression i got from reading the post!Im known as the 'Fixer' if you have a problem, come to me and i can fix it for you.0 -
You can't assume someone's emotions through text. Maybe they are panicking as they are finding things hard at the moment and can't see themselves paying what they are asking?Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research

I read the same as roh105, I got a hint of indignation from the OP at the sheer audacity of the DWP for wanting money back that they lent on top of benefits over 3 years ago.
That linked with the fact that they ask about a time limit to be chased for this money, when they know full well that they owe it regardless of how long its been.
Maybe the OP was mis-loan the loan?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I'm not sure they'll negotiate much on the monthly repayment for the loan - there are set scales they use to work out how much the debtor has to pay back from their benefits - and I believe its fairly low anyway.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

well actually I was asking a question but was a little surprised it took the JC 3 years to get back to me. I assumed that they were taking it out of my ESA after a month. So to all of you who actually answered my question, thanks! To all of you who decided to insult me, f*** you and rest assured I won't be using this website again.0
