Egg and Barclaycard: How far have they gone?

Hello. Just a Quick Q - I have just opened a Barclaycard for the first time. I still have an Egg card and they have yet to fully merge the Egg accounts into BC as yet, I presume, but at the moment could I do a BT from Egg to Barclaycard - or have they gone too far and already merged the files et al. - making the transfer impossible?

I was under the impression that the transfer happened on 29 April and as such, now that Barclaycard own the Egg accounts, balance transfers between the two won't be possible. Whilst the systems aren't integrated they are still under the same ownership. You have nothing to lose by trying I guess.0

Thanks for reply - I'll give it a good go - but if not, I can reroute it through Capital One. Longer journey though.
In the sign up (for BC) it does ask how much would you want to BT if the account should be opened - which kinda threw me - because you have to keep the promise within 60 days.Home life ceases to be free and beautiful as soon as it is founded on borrowing and debt - Henrik Ibsen0
