Concert Tickets - reduced before the event

I was wondering if anyone could help, can a promoter reduce the cost of tickets days before an event and not offer a refund to those who have already purchased these tickets at full price?

Many thanks

    Yes - it's called a "sale"

Yes they can. The tickets are theirs to sell as they please. It is entirely possible they are releasing a cheaper block of seats with restricted angles, or something.

Of course they can! It means they haven't sold enough tickets and are doing what they can to get bums on seats and break even!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

In which case they either sell em off cheap, or cancel the concert. At least if they sell 'em cheap, you still get to see your bands!

If they'd put the price up you wouldn't have asked if you should pay the extra!

Unless they stated somewhere it's the cheapest they will ever be (which sometimes they do) they can.

Were you not happy with the price you paid for the tickets when you bought them?

Of course you were otherwise you wouldn't have bought them - the cost to you hasn't changed so just enjoy the event
