I'm looking at rehoming a dog that has a condition that is already being paid for by Sainsburys pet cover, can the policy be transferred to me if i take the dog?

Is it a dog that you're hoping to take from a "private" owner (rather than a rescue etc)?
It's unlikely that the policy will be transferable - however, your best bet would be for the current owner/policy holder to speak to Sainsbury's and see what they say (they're unlikely to discuss it with you as you're not the policy holder).
If not, I guess you have to weight up what the costs of treatment are / are likely to be in the future (is it a condition that will be ongoing / is it likely to re-occur? etc etc).Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
