My nephew asked me yesterday if I could put his Nintendo DS online? I said I would find out for him and get back to him. Is it possible and if so how do you get it online?

I must phone him when he gets home from school to let him know, he will be delighted as I told him I didn't think it could be. :j0 -
Is it easy to put online? Is it wise for a 9 1/2 year old to have it online? Is there anything I would need to say to his parents regarding it?0

One thing to bear in mind is that the DS only supports WEP security. As WEP is easily hackable you may find his parents' router is using WPA/WPA2 so he won't be able to connect0

Therefore the long and short of it is that he will not be able to go online on his Ds?!? I am glad I didn't telephone him to advise him otherwise.0 -
DS and DS Lite use WEP, DSi, DSiXL and 3DS use WPA.0
