!!!!! spayed today

My 2 year old English Bull Terrier has gone in to be spayed today.
I'm worried naturally, although i'm sure she will be fine.
I know the vet will give me aftercare advice for her, but i wonder if i coud pick the brains of those of you who have had their girls done, as i've only ever had males neutered.
I'm likely to forget half of what the vet tells me as i usually do so it would be great to have some advice to look over again!
She's our only dog, and very much part of the family so i want to do everything I can to make her recovery as comfortable as possible.
Thanks

I would take a pen and paper to the vets, you won't be the first or the last to be forgetful due to stress.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Thanks Fire Fox, i did just that!
She's now home, but she hates me lol, she's really groggy still and won't even look at me!
She seems ok otherwise. Vet was really good, and gave me lots of info on an aftercare sheet and also other info which i wrote down. Thanks for your reply

Glad she is home safe. Dont worry, its incredible how quickly they get over being spayed. I often think if we had gone through that op, would we be running around a few days later like nothing had happened
Dogs are wonderful. 0
