Update - well, I went on air....
And I'm not £1000 richer! I got 6 out of my 10 questions correct, but was floored by questions including the nickname of Beijing Stadium. Embarrassingly too, for someone who works in a college, I went completely blank when asked who the Education Secretary was.
Oh well, it was still fun.

i did a radio comp once and was shaking like a jelly. i knew the answers but my mind went blank. felt such a wally as all my family had the radios on to listen lol

I was on the same show last friday, I got to question 8, I thought the questions were hard and really difficult to get 10 right in under a minute. Oh well lets carry on Comping its all experience

Aww shame you didn't win... at least you know what it's all about now and probably wouldn't mind doing a radio comp again. I entered a comp online without realising it was a radio and didn't believe them when they called me. Was only a couple of easy questions and I did win some fab stuff (telly, etc), but I certainly didn't believe it until it all turned up lol!
