RentShield Tenant Credit Check

Hi,
Does anybody have any experience of Rentshield? I have a default on my file dating back to 2005 which I'm currently disputing and am worried that it's going to adversely affect me when this company do their check.
The Experian Rep. on MSE said that landlord checks only show public record information and not details of credit agreements etc. however, having looked at Rentshield's website it seems that they can access rather more than that.
Any help you can give me would be much appreciated.
The agency are charging us £25 +VAT each for the check, for that amount I wouldn't have thought it would be too in depth.

I imagine the Rentshield £25 check is similar to Letsure's Standard check. There's an example of one here.0
