Help needed! New to utilities!!

I wonder if you could help please!
I have recently moved into our first house and have been looking at fixing the utilities.
I am currently on a standard tariff with npower as I didn't want to commit until I found the best deal!
The problem is that we have been in the house only a month (and we didn't move in straight away as well) and so haven't received any bills yet but have taken the readings. So I’m not sure if we are a low user or what.
I would like a tariff that is capped for a period of time but can't seem to find the details from the suppliers, (for example how much they actually charge per unit!)
Hope this makes sense and any guidance will be gratefully received!!

Use a comp, site, all the unit price info you require is there. Use estimated readings to get an idea of the best deals for your region. You need to move fast now to get a decent fixed tariff though. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Yeah I've used a couple of comparison sites but couldn't see the price per unit so to speak! I'll keep looking cheers. Yeah I thought I'd better cap as soon as possible!0

If you click on the tariff name that you are interested in then it gives the full details, including standing charges, tiers, discounts etc.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
