Looks like it's set to be a scorcher up here! Spent all yesterday afternoon outside watching my bf's match which was lovely, though have woken up to some TRES attractive floral sunburn on my legs (forgot to put suncream on before my tights) - ph well!
Plans for today (other than work, obviously) are checking online banking and onepoll and attempting to find a new housemate (one's moving out at the end of this week) - urgh
Hope you're all well and enjoying the lovely weather

*NSD. Just had to get milk.
*Free drinks at work and packed lunch from stores
*Checked www.quidco.com they owe me £45
*Worked really hard to try to get a bit extra in my quarterly bonus.
*Watching old DVDs instead of buying new ones.
*Planned July's finances provisionally to see if I can make my last credit payment for one of my cards a month earlier. I probably can. Originally I was going to pay it off before Christmas, now I might make it in October.
*Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
Oooo how do you get the discount? I went on the website but no mention of discount on there
The cheapest I have found so far is Vauxhall at £39.95 inc VAT and going to get it done this week hopefully

Or I think you can buy a kit from Halfords and do it yourself. http://www.halfords.comDebt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Check job sites
Went to jobcentre
Went to Iceland and spent vouchers I got
Ordered monthly food shop

Replied to emails
Done comps
Vacuumed upstairs
Tidied downstairs
Sorted animals out
Used free texts
Used Amazon voucher to buy a blu ray
Hope everyone has a great day!No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Hi everyone,
Hope you've all had a good day, it's been a real scorcher here - waiting for the thunder to start!
Well below is is what I've been up to today - not much but every little helps I suppose:
Made packed lunches for kids this morning
Popped to Sainsburys this morning and bought salad & chicken so I can take ceaser salad to work this week. Also bought Special K to help with that diet!
Had free fruit at work
Lunch was also pre-bought from Sainsburys (I know bad - but once a week I allow myself a shop bought lunch)
Checked I'd been paid& moved money to savings
Checked Ebay but hadn't been paid on one sold item and turned out person that bought was in Germany despite my listing saying I do not post out of the UK
Tried to find some sort of insurance/repair deal for my dishwasher that is not draining water awayQuotes for repair are around £130. Looking at various options but also toaster is on blink so think I'll need to replace that too
:(
Checked surveys - none as I think I signed on too late for them
Dinner made from scratch
Enjoying a slimline V&T now0 -
