Hi all - hope I'm on the right board! Has anyone seen any good deals on masonry paint? Alternatively, any codes for any of the DIY stores? Thanks!

i personally would steer well clear of diy store paint , if you want it to last , it's well worth paying more for something decent , dulux weathershield / sandtex , the dulux stuff you get from diy stores is not the same as the trade version , go to your nearest trade merchant ,0

seems the right answer to me, paint in general seems to me to be one of those things that 'buy cheap, regret quick' applies to.
But it depends what you want it for, if its a quick slap on to brighten up a house to sell it quick then cheap stuff 'might' be OK0 -
I got some Sandtex in Wilkinsons on Saturday,a five litre tin for £15 down from £24.99.
Its not a sale price but a limited offer which is still on.
It's good paint too,I've used it for years.0 -
Homebase have an offer on that ends tomorrow. Buy 2 ten litre buckets of Dulux Weathershield and get a 3rd free.
I'm pretty sure that if they are out of stock of the colour you want, providing you pay for it now, they will get it in later in the week and honour the offer price.0 -
Thanks all for the responses - I knew someone here would know!
I'll only need about 10L, so it looks like I'm off to Wilkinsons this afternoon! (Now, what was that weather forecast again?!)0 -
Just got back from our local Focus store, which is closing down on 15th July. They had loads of it at £10 per 5l so long as you only wanted magnolia, cream, beige, cream, biscuit, magnolia or cream ...!0
