    Evening all

I'll be lurking this week after a nice, but tiring weekend. Saturday was busy and yesterday I was horribly hung over. Self inflicted, I know, but I didn't have any more to drink than normal. :o

I managed a HHC decluttering in the LR and DS1 has been instructed to hoover any visible carpet tomorrow. I also spent another hour putting laundry away and on other dailies. Work is next - as we started next year's timetable today things are a bit easier for the time being.

Help yourself to hugs, spoons and sticks! x

  • Had a good day it has been boiling here, but lounge was fairly easy as it was nearly tidy so blitzed it.
I also ate a frog - washed nets and hung on line for 1/2 hour to dry!! and cleaned front room windows as they were filthy dirty and that was just the inside.

Also saw sports therapist today and she was pleased with the progress I'd made, I am seeing podiatrist wednesday to get hopefully some custom made inserts, With my temporary inserts I have been able to get back to running I have managed 4-5 miles 3 times a week, although sunday morning was a killer, so humid and hot. Looking forward to tomorrow evening we are running 5 miles to a pub, have a drink then catch a train back. Hopefully no cows wander on the line this week - last week one did and trains were cancelled - would have been a long walk home!!!! Am working tuesday and friday this week as DS is off school thursday due to strikes! Now off to catch up on thread, hugs to those that need it.

    Evening

Been a hot one here too, was bell ringing this morning and it was lovely and cool by comparision in church. Came out to a heatwave and have melted all afternoon! That said I have done quite a bit of washing, hung it out (with matching pegs, on account of the fact that they are all wooden :p) and folded loads of it. The SW's put a lot of their's away.

Miss A had the first of her taster days at her new school and seemed suitably impressed, she is currently on a first aid course and due home any minute.

Goodintentions, so sorry to hear about your uncle.

piggers, i am hoping that your blargh feeling is just non-permanent hormonal related. I got to feeling blargh a lot while pregnant too and have so far escaped the PND. Always feel bluesy, but nothing enough to call proper PND. How come you don't go see the midwives? Or have i got the wrong end of the stick somewhere and you just didn't go to one appointment?

wendywitch, OMG! I hope you are okay after your ex did that to you! (((hugs)))

    seafarers_wife
, glad your appointment showed nothing out of the ordinary. I had to inject myself after my c-section. You get used to it pretty quick!

AJ, 12 days! Major EEP! I bet you can hardly sleep huh?

RachelS, good job today! It feels sooooo good doesn't it?

Triker, sending you hugs hun. (((hugs)))

You'd think wouldn't you. OH and I seem to be the only ones not obsessing over it. We are really looking forward to being with our friends and family, can't wait to be husband and wife but almost couldn't care less about the wedding. I got a slight flutter of excitement the other day when I heard some music similar to our band but that is about it. Maybe it will be different after Thursday's dress fitting, it was after the last one that my indifference started.

9 days until my mum arrives to stay, 10 days until my sister and niece arrive, 11 days until my dad brings the rest of the gaggle and most other people arrive and 12 days until the wedding. Oh and 7 days until our VIPs from Australia arrive. All hell is going to break loose soon

Flying wise, here is what is left of my list, will try and get these bits done first tomorrow.
