PS3 wont work after update GT5

can anyone help with this problem.?


After the latest OTA update to Gran Turismo 5 ver.1.1 the game will not load. I just get this message ....."system software 3.66
Insufficient free space on Hard Drive (HDD). At least 32MB required. Please exit the game and free up some space.
0x00000001 [201] "

Thing is... I have at least 12Gb free space and this appears to be a common problem from my google research. I have contacted Sony and their advice was to delete the game from my PS3 and reload it as a new user. This did not help at all.

cheers, but according to Google people have been having simialr problems for at least 6 months and Sony dont accept here is a problem.

Ive deleted my game saves but I'm not going to delete my "free extra cars" just frustrating I cant get any further.

Can't see Sony releasing a patch anytime soon for a glitch they dont accept has happened

You're probably right, but knowing my luck it still wont load . I'd rather explore every avenue first.
