Need advice re Photo Resizing in eBay

Hello All

Until recently I pretty much listed everything to sell on eBay via Auctiva. I like being able to use Templates and have lots of pics showing in the main body of the listing.

Then eBay recently started letting all Sellers use the multi variation option. Great I think because this will save me some money on insertion fees now. However, Auctiva won't let me use their multi-variation listing tool unless I upgrade from their basic plan ($3 a month) to their unlimited plan ($10 a month). I don't want to do this as I'm a very small business seller and the basic plan has been perfect to date.

So, as a solution, I went back to listing directly in eBay and using Photobucket to add photos into the main body of my listings. I was resizing my pics to 'medium' in Photobucket, then copying the HTML link and pasting it into the HTML part of the eBay listing. When I then switched the listing view back from 'HTML' to 'Standard' I was able to click on the photos and resizing handles would appear and I could manually resize the photos within the listing. This was great because I could fine-tune the photo size and make my pics all line up really well.

All of a sudden this week, when I make a new listing, I cannot click on the photos in my listing and resize, as the little resize 'handles' won't appear. It's really frustrating and I am on the verge of giving in and going back to Auctiva and upgrading to their unlimited plan but I would be throwing money away I think.

Can anyone advise why my resize handles have disappeared and how I get them back? I'm using the same computer (a Mac) that I was originally and the same browser (Safari).

Many thanks in advance guys.
