Tesco Credit Card Overlimit charge

Hi,
My mother recently paid for her holiday on her Tescos credit card, never thinking about her credit card limit and went over it.
She got charged £12 even though she paid off most of the debt on getting the bill.
Can she get this charge taken off? if so how?
