She has such cold dead eyes.
No wonder she advocates selfish rent-enslavement of children and the hoarding of this country's so-called finite supply of property.
And all just to support her when she's aged, diseased and even more pointless than she currently is.

surely, along with the fact that according to others above her property is in thamesmead of all places, just demonstrates the pitfalls of making this type of investment as an "amateur". her businessplan appears to be to hope that the property will significantly appreciate in value - if it is in thamesmead, then good luck with that...
She's clearly one of those that thinks she's a cleverclogs but actually pretty dimwitted (despite lucky) when it comes to the nittygritty of Real Life.
You want evidence? Check this out:After university [Cambridge] I was probably at my lowest ebb financially. I did economics, not because I wanted a career in finance but because I had to do something and a friend told me it would be easier than a law degree.
That's right folks. Just because she went to Cambridge University she is particularly clevererest than yow (no, not typos; rather an effort to invoke the spirit of Enfield).
So, lowest financial ebb after Cambridge University studying economics? Doesn't sound like she learned much!
Wanted to go into finance but do a degree easier that Law? Sounds like a very confused puppy to me. So she clearly learned !!!!!!-all on her degree and boffed along the BTL route during the biggest credit boom EVER?
Oh, sure, genius...Long live the faces of t'wunty.0 -

overreaction much? the telegraph wanted to interview her so she complied, i expect for a fee. it's not as if she is on some propoganda mission to tell you how much better she is that you.
all i read into that was that she went to uni, the telegraph added in which uni it was for context, and that she said she chose her course basically at random. most people haven't a clue what they want to do for a living when they chose their degree (and btw, it said she didn't want to do finance, not that she did). most people then go on to do something which hasn't got much to do with their degree.
in summary, she's rubbish at being a BTL investor, but it doesn't matter much because she gets paid loads to stand in front of a camera and say things - so she's doing alright really.0 -

Allot of bitter posters on this thread.. get a life.0

Not quite sure what the point of the thread is? Konnie has wisely invested in property, seeing a return on that investment way in excess of typical share value and come retirement will most likely have several mortgage free properties paid for from rental income. Why the derision?
I had two properties, one we lived in, one was BTL. The profit from the sale of both enabled us to buy a nice 5 bed detached with only a small mortgage. Property has been the best investment we have ever made.
WRONG... you were just born in the right time....that is all..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

I would like to involve her and Merrym in a vigorous three way discourse about my rapidly inflating portfolio.0 -
She's a horrible creature. Most people hate her and the hatred is justified0

using facebook, the greatest investigatory tool since google, i have investigated your claims and found them to be false.
it appears only 105 people are members of the group "we hate konnie huq", although a further 13 people "like" the activity "punching konnie huq in the face". 13 people (possibly the same 13 people) think she should "huq off".
200 people think that "konnie huq is sexy" and a further 169 people think she is "amazing". there are 689 members of the konnie huq appreciation society.
as an aside there appear to be several hundred thousand people who hate fat el hombres.0
