National express NOT TURE

The Claim: "National Express is selling one-way seats for £9 across England, Wales and Scotland, on ANY route when you travel before 30 September.

However this does not apply to travel to airports, so the claim is not acutually correct.

Quite annoyed..

Letting people know what? That airport travel isn't included? It clearly states that they aren't included in the promotion t&c's so what is there to be annoyed about?

It tells you this on the website, its no different to Homebase 10% days that say 10% off everything then have smallprint of things that are not included !

I think deanos's post says it all really, it's copied from the National Express website.

You say 'The claim' - where did you read/hear this 'claim'?

Do they say 'ANY route' on the TV adverts?
They certainly don't make that claim on the website.

In that case, the OP's dispute is with THIS website rather than National Express (which wasn't clear from the original post).

I would have thought as you went to book you would have visited the actual website...then you would have seen the restrictions (got the details straight from the horses mouth so to speak as opposed to 2nd hand info)...

as this is a money saving website, perhaps if you said where you were travelling from and which airport you wanted to get to...possibly include the date as well...you may find other MSE'rs have discovered ways already to do this "on the cheap"....

then again....maybe you weren't really trying to find cheap travel to an airport....you just wanted a wee rant?
No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere

FWIW, National Express have a hub at Heathrow, so if you happened to book a through trip...?
