Since 14 June my PC(Win 7) has shown that there is 1 important update and 4 optional updates.
They are installed(successfully according to the history) but immediately re-appear as updates waiting to be 'downloaded' and have been installed 'successfully' every time the PC is switched off - I have also tried to install them without turning off the PC.

I had this some months ago, and was able to sort matters out by searching for the relevant 8 updates on the Microsoft Updates website, and downloading and installing them manually. Of course, YMMV...0
