Morning all,

I've just noticed that Egg have taken £201 from me this month for a min' payment on £10,000.

Why??? It's £200 for the last 3 months...?

Thanks

    For the Eggsperts! lol

Is the min' payment (2%) calculated on what your balance at the time of the billing date..? or is this 2% calculated on the separate Balance Transfers you do throughout the month etc..?

    Thanks

I cant believe you are complaining over £1 TBH.

People complain over things like this because they have nothing better to do with their time.

I would have thought asking Egg themselves would be an idea. If you can stretch to using common sense.

I think asking Egg is probably the most constructive reply possible

Have you access to the secure messaging online, they normally respond quite quickly on that. (Also are you sure that you only have £10k in the account, they mucked up my interest free stuff so my account suddenly became a few pounds more than my actual credit limit so my payement ended up being 'more' than I expected aswell, they sorted it out quite quickly though)

Im not really sure what reply you expected. I thought it was a joke at first, but your second reply gave it away.

There are people on this board for help, in the real position of looking at losing their jobs, their families and their lives. I think a post about a £1 difference was slightly insensitive.

I didnt mean to cause offence to you as the £1 is clearly important to you.

All right, you two, go settle it with snowballs and leave the rest of us alone. :D

£1 could indicate something is wrong, I always follow up on such things. As Woby_Tide said, they could have made a mess of something and this could be a clue to some other more major problem.

So after the snowball fight is over :p , contact egg, and quit arguing with someone who thinks the £1 isn't important. It probably isn't....
I have five stars! This doesn't mean that I know anything about any of the things I post. I could be a raving lunatic, or a brilliant genius, or just some guy on the internet. In fact, I could be all three at the same time.

If anything I say makes sense, then do it. If not, don't. Don't blame me or my stars if you do something stupid because I suggested it. I'm responsible for my own stupidity only. You are responsible for yours.

Why, I don't even have five stars anymore! Aren't you glad you aren't responsible for my stupidity?

Shame people can't be a little more civil in their replies.

I a short while ago was getting charged around 3% on my Barclaycard Mastercard when it should have been 2%. I cleared the card and since spending on it it's gone to 2% again. Not sure why they did it but it was close to the limit at the time so they may have wanted me to get more available credit on it as shortly after they bumped up both of my card limits by quite a bit. (Without asking)

In the end it doesn't matter because it all comes off your balance.

    Doh!

All I've done is ask genuine question for some simple help or advice - Which I thought somebody on here would have been able to answer.

The replies from JasonW and Daveboy were just totally un-called for. They have just replied with b*tchy remarks and have just taken the mick.

As I have mentioned before - People who don't have anything constructive or nice to say - Should NOT reply!
