I have a garage, not attached to my house - would I need planning permission to have it joined onto my house, its around 1m away from my front door - its infront of my house not to the side.
Thanks

The best people to ask are the local Planning Dept. Pop into the council offices and ask to see someone. They're very helpful (at least mine are!)0
