Not really current account related, but it will appeal to anyone bagging current account bonuses, so I'm posting it here. https://www.linemypocket.co.uk is currently offering £6 and £7.50 to anyone opening A&L and Cahoot savings accounts via its site. I've done this, depositing a tenner in each (instant access), and the amounts are pending at linemypocket - they do take ages to clear though, so patience is required. You have to manually claim for the A&L account, but Cahoot was automatic.
Obviously these offers can be repeated for spouses. The A&L account is worthwhile in itself, being at 5.35% which is a very decent rate.
Linemypocket is a cashback site I've used a lot. It's main advantage is that cashback is payable (via paypal or as amazon vouchers) in amounts of £5 or greater, where many sites have a minimum withdrawal of £20 or so. I think you may get a small sign up bonus if not already a member, and there are quite a number of other offers worth looking at, including some of the financials (credit card apps and so on). Also worth looking at https://www.rpoints.com who offer similar offers.
UPDATE: Just checked at Rpoints - they are now offering 1000 points (£10) for any cahoot product successfully obtained - this includes current and savings accounts.

Greasypalm are also offering £10 to open a cahoot savings or bank account.0

I opened A&L last month - the 'manually' bit makes me think I just might be able to claim for this. Any chance?0

Probably not - I believe they have to match some sort of 'batch number' with information from the affiliate site.0
