Seller undercharged, now asking for money 3 weeks after item delivered

I got home tonight to find a reply from the owner and was pleasantly suprised.
" It was quite a shock for us too. The manufacturers pointed it out to us because it's against their policy to sell 'loss-leaders'.
You'll be pleased to hear we've decided not to pursue it and the matter is now CLOSED. "

They screwed up, they had no grounds to chase you for any further payment and they still manage to make it sound like they are doing you a favour by not taking it further!0 -

The the manufacturer is in the wrong as it has been illeagal to fix pricing in the UK for some time.0
