Buying dishwasher online - Delivery to NI

I need a new dishwasher. My current 5 yr old one has lights on it which indicate a fault and the service engineer costs £74 just to call him out. So I want to buy a new one in the new year but the websites I have visited so far only deliver to the mainland.
Does anyone have the web address for a company which will deliver here and not with exorbitant delivery charges?

Hi,
Have you considered Curry's? Have a look at their website and see if the dishwasher you want is there. Then ring the number for Curry's in the NI phone book and for some reason you'll be put through to a place in England. When I ordered my tumble dryer over the phone they automatically offered me 10% off (not an offer on their website) which covered the 10£ or so delivery fee.
Well worth a go!
Cheers,

If you know what model and the price you are prepared to pay ,give "Donaghys" in Kilrea a call and see what price they can do it for.0

Also its worth bearing in mind that the reason goods are a bit more expensive here is because even retailers have to pay extra in delivery charges. There probably isn't much of a way round that. Take into account the whole cost, including postage, and then try some local guys.0 -

Hi all managed to get John Lewis to confirm that they don't charge delivery for items over £100.
I usually go to Lisnasure for electrical goods but they were the same price as Currys and I refuse to shop in Currys when they have staff who don't know anything except that they have to get you to take insurance.
I will try Moores and Donaghys though in the new year though before opting for someone across the pond.
Another question though, does anyone know of any competitive retailer closer to Lisburn. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi, I bought a dishwasher from Robinsons electricals in Lancaster, UK for £218It's the Beko Stainless Steel Dishwasher (12-place setting, 1/2 load option, low decibel hence v.quiet) same one in Argos for around £270. The company is a Euronics supplier so they ordered it into their shop & couriered straight back out to me with TNT for £15, so even with courier charges I still saved over £43 & spoke to a very nice person who knew their job. They accepted switch & sure cc too. I live in the North West England, but TNT is a big outfit so you'd have to ask the shop if TNT would courier it over to NI for you. However, even with charges it may still work out quite a bit cheaper than Argos.
PS - The Dishwasher is Fab & from ordering to delivery in 3 days - Argos said 28 days!!
Good luck :j

Thanks to Coolhandluke and Arkonite_babe for the local suggestions.
I rang Moores, Donaghys and Hanna & Brown today cos dishwasher finally gave up the ghost. Donaghys gave super price over the phone and reduced it further when we drove there from Lisburn. This more than covered the cost of the petrol and there's free delivery too. They could deliver tomorrow but there won't be anyone home so it's coming next Tuesday - that's excellent service.
Thanks for the suggestions. Donaghys was bunged with people but they had loads of staff available who evidently knew what they were talking about when discussing the products. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
