Direct Debit app - any good?

While rummaging around the BACS website I came across this app, which promises to:

• Receive Direct Debit reminders in advance of the due date
• View a snapshot of your Direct Debit commitments registered for the current month as well as the amount outstanding for the remaining month
• Add details of a new Direct Debit simply and easily
• Direct Debits can be categorised, making finding any of your commitments quick and easy
• You can view all the Direct Debits you have registered, or just those in a certain category
• The app allows you to set your own reminder parameters
• Data can be password protected for extra security
• There’s a direct link to the Direct Debit help centre, if you need information or advice
• It’s easy and simple to use!

Given the number of threads about DDs on this forum I wonder if it may be of use to anyone?
(NB. This is not a recommendation as I haven't tried it myself)

Thanks for pointing it out, but I suspect that the people who would benefit most are unlikely to bother using it. It doesn't offer much more than a diary or the calendar function would.

It's a nice enough idea, but as pmduk the sort of people who can't be bothered to use a diary for something like that aren't going to use a program.

just use online banking.
