Drilling into someones garage wall

Hi I am just wondering what the law says on a garage with a proper roof etc that is positioned at the end of someone elses garden.

Does the person who has the garage at the end of garden need permission to start drilling into the walls of this garage to fix things to it?

    yes, it's your wall
As is a tale, so is life: not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters.

Its my garage a neighnour has drilled into.

So as it at the end of his garden the facing side is fair game?

I am not going to make a fuss I just wondered becuase he is funny as hell and would probably have a kitten if the shoe was on the other foot.

The guy is a pain in the bum, when we moved in he used to park his car outside my house alot but I didnt want to fall out as we got on well so never said a word and used to find someone else to park my car. Then one day I parked outside his house and he came round kicking off. I moved the car and thought well at least he won't park outside my house again.

Then a week later come home and he parked outside my house. I sorry but I am having someone taking the !!!!. So I polited asked him to move it as i needed to park outside my house.

He did but has been funny ever since, bloody neighbours can't win.

Now he moans about everything, last knocked on my door and 9pm to say that after I moaned my lawn I had left some blades of grass on the path between are houses. This guy is younger than me about 33 and seems to have no life.

If part of your garage is effectively somebodies boundary wall, they CANNOT drill into it. It will be classed as criminal damage. Its your property on your land and no body except you can drill into it.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.

To hang some trellis thats crooked, he is no bob the builder. Puts anti punture gel in tyres for a living. I am not going to kick up I just wondered. If he wasn't a pain or had asked I wouldnt even asked the question.

Not worth drilling through from the inside and pushing out then.

have a look on the forum of a very good website called Gardenlaw. there are many helpful people on there who will give you well informed advice. I am pretty sure your neighbour has no right at all to touch your garage and you are right, he is taking the p**s

That did cross my mind buts hole course of engineering bricks to drill through first. There brand new houses only built aug 2010.

Like I said it serves no purpose would rather he was more friendly and considerate with his parking than to make even more bad air. When he moaned about the path I bit my togue and said I would be out to resweep it when I was dressed--holding my dressing shut. I finished my shower and got dressed went out and swept the hole path again. I am really trying to keep the peace.

Also took a parcel for him after all this and he came to collect it at 9:30pm when I just gone to bed. Stll seemed pretty ungrateful just said he had only just thing in the door. Think he is just very impulsive without much thought!
