Hi folks. In a bit of a pickle. Yesterday I done a deal with a large musical instrument store in Edinburgh. I owned a Yamaha Tyros 1 plus its original speakers. I had been looking at other keyboards/pianos online and found a Casio WK 7500 and after reading/watching reviews online, it looked to be quite the Keyboard. I got in touch with the store and came to an agreement of ; my Tyros 1 + speakers for their Casio WK 7500 + £85. I felt quite pleased with this and was happy to accept. However, after bringing the Casio home and playing it, I knew I had made a HUGE mistake. Please know that the Tyros is 10 years old now and the Casio has just been released in the past 12 months. And is claimed to be Casio's highest end Keyboard. This is what lead me to believe the Casio would be the better of the two. And my, how I was wrong. I finished work today and decided to call the store and ask if I could return the Casio and the £85 for the return of my Tyros and speakers.........The phone went very quiet (because they knew they were getting the better deal obviously) The elderly gentleman that I spoke to seemed to be fine with doing a return, until his work colleague took over. Never spoke to him, but I was put on hold for 5 minutes. When the gentleman returned, he told me that I could not come in today as the situation is complicated. He said that since the Casio keyboard has now been opened and used (for less than an hour) he would need to get his son to deal with it on Monday. I'm starting to panic slightly. I now think that if they do agree to swap, that they are going to want more than the £85 and Casio in return. Can someone please tell me my rights/options available
Many thanks
Stuart

To be honest with you , you dont have any rights just because you dont like something. You shouldve tried it out in the shop and been happy with what you were purchasing before you made any sort of deal.one of the famous 50

Yeah, I should of. It was shop closing time though and the Keyboard was boxed ready to be taken away. Appreciate for your reply0

Unfortunately, you have no rights in this situation. You could only return it if it was faulty, or if they had mis-sold it to you.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
