Abbey Credit Card PPI

Hi all,

A friend of mine took out a Abbey credit card around 4-5 years back and was wondering whether he could claim back the ppi he was sold on the card, also as Abbey has now been taken over who does he write to to try to claim back ?

Many thanks

I'm still looking for the answer to this question. I asked here on MSE a few days ago but with no reply as yet. I will keep on searching!

    Thanks suitable69,

I'll pop the questionnaire &copies of my credit card statements in the post to them. The amount I'm claiming back is just under £60 as I arranged a loan to pay off my credit card when I saw the first statement! A small amount but it's MY £60!

I just have to type out a covering letter and then I'll post it recorded delivery. Thanks again!

I asked the same question a couple of days ago with no reply too ammersall... hence the reason I kept searching and came across this post from Debtworry which you then was able to help me.

My paperwork is sitting right next to me on my desk and I'll be leaving work in a couple of minutes to go to the Post Office. Keeping my fingers crossed I get my 60 quid back!
