We would really like one of these to use up the aging fruit.I tried looking at them in a shop, but without actually having one and using it it is hard to choose.
Ideally I'd like something that is quite large capacity(family of 5) is easy to clean(in the dishwasher),powerful enough to take carrots, apples (without peeling)etc and turn into juice and discard pulp(do you use this somehow aswell?!) would also like to make smoothies with ice etc in summer. And doesn't take excessive work top space up on over the top styling,oh and isn't too expensive!!
Can anyone reccomend a good model similar to my ideal? because I really don't have a clue! Thanks.

Missus does juicing sometimes, the morphy richards one we bought a few years ago was OK but didnt make much juice. She`s just bought a JML one, its quite cheaply made but the spinney basket thing is much bigger and makes much more juice for the same amount of fruit, the pulp is drier too so it does work well. Dont try unpeeled oranges though the peel is very bitter. I remain unconvinced, mixed veg juice is just nasty if you ask me. I`d favour a bloody mary anyday.
For ice smoothies a blender and some chopped fruit is all you need, a juicer as above will probably just turn your ice into water.
