New Car Deal Legal Advice Pls

Hi

We agreed to buy a new ford car yesterday and paid a £1000 deposit, however today this morning the garage has phoned me to say that they messed up on their figures and the car is £1,500 more because of their mistake.

Can I hold them to the orginal price we agreed and paid a deposit on, I have the written quotation and ford figures from them on the agreed amounts

I have told them this morning that they have to honour the figures we agreed on - and they have said they will check with their manager and come back to me this morning

Stick to your guns and if they don`t keep their side of the deal tell them to stick it.

Plenty of online sites to buy a car usually cheaper than a high street garage.

    Autobytel,Drivethedeal, etc.
