Not charged for laptop?

Unintentional
I recently ordered a custom built laptop from Dell. When I ordered it, the money left my account. I haven't checked my card online until now and the money has now gone back into my account, I checked the tracking link today and they've confirmed it's been built and they're doing quality checks and installing what I asked for. I'm worried this might be a problem. What should I do?
I try to help as much as I can. But I'm also honest and speak my mind.

Dell deal with payments the same way as many online retailers.
Once you've placed the order, they contact your card issuer and get approval from them for the payment. (this is check that the card and delivery address are valid). The money isn't actually taken from the card at this time, but it may show up on your online account as being held, so even though it has not yet been collected by Dell, it still comes off the total available for you to spend on that card.
It is only when the computer is actually sent that the money will be debited from your account.
Many hotels do the same as this.
When you check in they may contact your card issuer and pre-authorise a payment for each night that you are there. Again, this money isn't actually debited from your account but is simply frozen to stop you spending up to your credit limit and leaving the hotel with nothing.0 -
