in Credit cards
Want to purchase an item from The Vegan Collection in LA. Was going to use my current credit card that I use daily, but would make more sense to put it onto my Cap1 card when it arrives. Its 0% until October but does this apply for foreign transactions? Will the fee be covered in the first min payment or will I be charged interest on a foreign purchase and fee? Not sure on this one.

Most likely there will be a commission of around 2.95% for foreign currency.
The commission will be included in the exchange rates.
So if the exchange rate was $1 to £1 (for ease of example) then you would get charged $1 to £1.0295 (if the fee is 2.95%)
So it will be effectively hidden in a higher purchase prices.
So if you bought something for £100 and now it's £102.95 then it will simply be treated as a purchase of £102.95.
Check the figure - 2.95% is my approx guess.0
