Pets at Home

Options
Hi,
I recently bought 3 big bags of James Wellbeloved dog food from Pets at Home and the dog has now decided he's gone off it. So having already lost the receipt I thought they wouldn't exchange the 2 unopened bags but when I tried the manager at the Stockport store was fab! He took the 2 bags back gave me 3 alternative packs in exchange and a load of free samples of other foods to try out. I ended up paying about 50p for the lot and was promised that if the dog doesn't like the food (own brand) that they would refund it all including the opened bag that I would have to try the dog with!
He even carried it all to the car for me.
Excellent service - will definitely be going back.

thats great but woulndt shop there considering how they treat animals.
There's someone in my head, but it's not me
  • Animals hav always loked fine when ive been in? r they bad to them?
  • Another thumbs up from me for Pets At Home Stockport. They refunded me for a broken dog lead and we later saw Joe destroy another one in the same way- so it had been our fault after all. The vets there are also lovely.

I've never had any problems with the pets that I've brought from there (though one died just before xmas :() I find their custer service very good, but some thing can be over priced. Just like in everything else, you have to shop around a little.

Just following up on the original post.
The flipping dog wouldn't eat the new brand either - so I took it all back today and they again let me exchange it for his old brand and some chews etc to make up the money. In fact they gave me change in cash when I had originally paid by a debit card - only 56p but money all the same.
Well done to Stockport Pets at Home.:T
