Trouble installing DVD-RW

Bought one of the Storage Options SOX8XDVD-RW off Play.com the other day and thought it was a bargain for less than £18

Bought it to use with my Zoostorm netbook but after installing it tonight with no problems it now doesnt seem to appear in My Computer.
Plugged in OK and even trying with the seperate power usb cable but although it lights up and DVD/CD goes round nothing appears on the computer.
Cant uninstall it and re-install as it doesnt show up
Am I missing something or is it faulty ?
Not aware of it not being compatible with my Zoostorm netbook

Anybody having similar problems ?
