Replacement of clutch - fair price?

Clutch on my Honda HRV (1999 model 2 WD model) is "going". F1 quoted me just under £400 while another garage about £320.

Apparently the part is not costly but it's the having to get the gearbox down first that culminates in more labour time hence costlier price to fix.

What is a fair price to pay for such a repair?

Thanks.

make sure its the clutch and not a wobbly propshaft as these are rocking horse to procur
easy to do a clutch on these if everything undoes (they do go a bit peachy underneath at this age)
make sure quality 3 piece fitted not recon garbage
labour rate depends on area but 3/4 reasonable to cover overheads and parts

What are the signs of a propshaft going? I have noticed, don't know if it's related to this, there is a slight sway in the feel of the car like a ripple from left to right.
