A couple of years ago BBC Radio 3 streamed the Proms at 320Kbps HD on the internet.
And now they're streaming Radio 3 HD permanently.

This weekend BBC 6 Music are streaming from Glastonbury at 320Kbps HD on the internet.

Maybe they will continue to stream 6 Music in HD permanently too.


It's possible to record the Glastonbury HD feed at 320Kbps using get_iplayer.

(Probably other software will do this also).

I hope that means 320kbps on Radio Downloader too.

Does that software download live feeds, or just 'listen again'?

Listen again, so will I need get_ iplayer to get 320kbps from the live stream, or will listen again be at the higher bitrate too do you think?

I dunno.

With Radio 3 the live stream is 320Kbps, but the 'listen again' versions are 192Kbps.

Off to DL get_iplayer ready for the rest of the weekend, Radio 6 "listen again" is only 128kbps usually. Thanks again for the information. :beer:
