A very quick question.

I am going to be getting some quotes soon for a driveway that I am looking to have done in that pressed concrete effect. I know freeindex have a service where I can get 5 quotes without having to ring round I was just wondering if anybody has used this to arrange quotes and if so what results have been achieved?

The site will throw up builders etc who cover this type of work so out of the 5 people who contact you only might only get 1 who is a driveway specialist,.

Have you looked at impressed concrete driveways in your area? I do not like them - always look half-hearted attempts.

My partner and I drove around the area one Sunday to see what others had done - gathered ideas that she liked...

To be honest johnhowell I haven't. As I say I am at a very early stage and I fancy impressed concrete because I like the idea of the shine it gives when clean as my plan going forward is to eventually run some led lights along the sides leading upto my door. I might have a run around this weekend and see if I can get some ideas. My drive is pretty flat so atleast that won't cause an issue.

I have previously used ratedpeople.com (how I found my window people) but I have read some not so good reviews from other posters regarding them (I am guessing I had a lucky turn). If anybody can recommend a company in the Chelmsford / Essex area then please do
