NatWest Credit Card HELP

Hi,
I have recieved a reply from NatWest saying that they have credited my account with a partial amount of what i requested.
It approximately half of what i asked for. This reply came after my second letter. Do i send them another letter saying i want the rest, or do i take them to court. They went on about how it was my fault etc that i defaulted and had the charges.
Can i get my defaults back?
Thank you for your time

I would send another letter stating that you accept this only as part payment and you will be recovering the rest. When the 14 days are up, file a claim for the remainder.0

Right, i will do that.
They said in the letter that what i was claiming was not allowed and that their £12 charges were legal. As according to the OFT or something.
Is this right? The £12 charges? They say it is fair.0 -
No, even the OFT said that only a court can decide if even a £12 charge is lawful. The thing is, in every case the banks are not letting it get to court so a judge can rule on it. This should give you a clue that the banks feel they would lose in court, otherwise they would go to court and win. To prove that a £12 charge only covers the banks costs, they would have to disclose to the court how much it costs them each time they deal with a charge. No bank in the UK wants to disclose their costs. Not one of them has done this yet, they are settling out of court to avoid this disclosure. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

so just continue as i was, and ignore this as a partial payment.
I am also not getting a response at all from one of my claims, and i am on the second letter. Should i continue to claim. Or check that they are getting the letters?0
