hi, my husband got a £7k premier credit card from barclays approx 18 months/ 2 years ago, it got maxed out buying a new car and at the time payments werent a problem. he has since been made redundant TWICE, and has put 2 claims in for the PPI. however they have literally been draggin there heels this whole time and have done nothing. they have now sold the debt to lowell of £8317 which i assume is the ppi paymnets added on or interest or whatever. what do we do, they keep 'losing' the claim paperwork even when we send it recorded and its now earned us several credit file defaults and its just not fair! please help

Where are you from? You need to go to Citizens Advice Bureau...they are usually good at stuff like that and the service is free.

Hi there, sorry to hear this, put a complaint into Barclays and one to the ceo,explain what has happened and tell them you are not happy that you have a product that they are not allowing you to claim on and you will be contacting FOS as you believe that your account would not have gone to lowells had the ppi done what it was intended to do.
Do NOT let them get a way with this.
