Deception by "The Drops of Help"

No it doesn't.
Ebico are a non-profit making organisation that supplies energy. Are they deceiving the public too?
How does that deceive anyone?
No it doesn't.
Many companies insist their employees carry identification cards. Even more so if the employees call at peoples doors.
Does that make all the utility suppliers a charity? How about the police?
So are you suggesting the donated items will not be used by others?
Doesn't need to. Lots of companies have this, us included, and we are certainly not a charity.
The 'Ltd' is attached to the company name - the only place it needs to be.
The request is for you to donate your unwanted items to the company - they are not expecting to pay you for them.
They do not hide the fact that they will then sell the items.
So no deception there either.
All the more surprising you haven't been able to post any evidence of deception then...
Whatever matey.
I know what i see when i look at the site and their literature and so do others.
In many ways its quite ingenious. I'm trying to think of how i can work that in to selling cars...

Thanks everyone for your feedback. They are probably staying within the letter of the law, however I do feel their collections bags are intended to fool the unwary into thinking they are a charity.
While I don't know the law well I gather if your company name or trademark stands any chance of confusing the consumer into thinking it is associated with another company it will get you into hot water (e.g. McDonalds managed to sue a Scottish sandwich shop called McMunchies even though they didn't sell burgers). Whereas with "charity collections" it seems to be acceptable to set out to confuse the public.0
