Hi
I'm looking for some advice, I want to buy a pocket camcorder. I have a few requirements:
1 - Must have a removable battery, not worried whether that's AA's or any other rechargeable type, bust must be removable so I can use more than one.
2 - This one is a priority, must take good footage in low light situations, school halls etc can be quite dim places!
3 - Preferably have some optical zoom, I appreciate this may not happen but would be nice.
4 - Have image stabilisation, for moving around at school sports days etc.
Any recommendations would be gratefully recieved.:)

Price requirements?
Best of breed for 'pocket' seems to have been the 'flip' (and flip style) cameras, but they're all lousy at low light, none have optical zoom, stabilisation, etc.
You either need to pay for a better, bigger, more capable camera, or choose which of those factors is most important and then get a better steer from there :-)0 -
Thanks, I'm looking to pay under £200 really. I have a bigger camcorder and its great except i don't use it because I don't like carrying it around.
I understand they will all struggle with low light, just wondered if any were better with it than others. The main thing is batteries, I want to be able to have spares so I dont have to stop using it to charge it all the time.
I just want something small to take to school events etc...0 -

Honestly, for under £200, I don't personally think there's going to be a huge amount to choose between them.0

Thanks, the problem I'm having is finding out which ones have a removable battery.
Can any one who owns one tell me which make/model they have and if it has a removable battery please?0
