in Credit cards
I just moved into my new home last Friday, i want to apply for the Tesco Credit card, but is it too soon to do so? I have updated my details with my bank, and sent of the electoral roll update to the council, I'm worried if i apply they will reject the request due to my details i enter not being the same as the electoral roll address i have, i doubt it would have been updated yet (sent it 9 days ago).
Would it cause a problem?

WAAAAAAY too early. Certain to decline.
It will take 6-12 weeks for your accounts to reflect at your current address and the electoral role registration to appear.
My OH moved mid-March, updated everyone straight away, and only this week did his accounts and ER reflect at the new address.
Besides which, having just moved (i.e. a short time at your current address) is a minus point in terms of credit scoring, even once the ER and account data has updated to reflect at your new address.
You'll want to wait a bare minimum of 3~6 months before applying for anything, preferably longer.
Good luck!

I realise it's a bit late for you now, but for anyone else who is going to move house and knows they will need to apply for credit, the best advice is to do it just before you move.
Otherwise as per the previous posts, you will end up struggling to get credit because electoral roll etc have not been updated, plus moving seems to dent credit records for a short period of time anyway.
When we bought our new house, we applied for new cards the day before we moved. Obviously as soon as they arrived (we had mail forwarded from the old address anyway so that was fine) we updated the address with the card provider to be the new one.0
