have to have pate - the last couple of years I have got the port and cranberry pate from co-op but there are no co-ops by my new home
other must have's are port, crackers, cheese, dry roasted nuts and some more port! going to make some home made bread this year for my pate - might even try the new flavours of bread mix Aldi has in stock...
good idea for the hangover and indigestion remedies - forgot all about them but they are now on my list!!0 -
I don't think I have to buy too much this year - have made plum liqueur and rhubarb schnapps, tomato chutney, runner bean pickle and mince pies.

Get yourself some body armour!!!! I went up yesterday morning to a 24 hour one and by the time I left, around noon the trollies were four abreast in the aisles. Wear some tough boots, ankle length at least to save your heels from people bumping you from behind. Be aware of all the big price labels that Tesco have on at the moment to totally bamboozle and confuse you in your hurry to get your Christmas goodies. Two boxes of 300g After 8s in one aisle for £4.50, then in the aisle to the back of that one 3 300g boxes for £5, or 2 450g boxes for £5, still the same in weight. I think Morrisons have After 8s on BOGOF just now, milk and plain. Right sorry to go off thread.
