End of computer lease

Can someone please advise if I can negoiate with the leasing company to purchase the computer at the end of the lease - they are asking £300 plus £35 administration charge. I think £100 is a sensible price as I have clearly paid the cost of the machine (and then some) plus the administration charge is something the banks would be proud of!

Why not just ask0

As DCFC79 says, you can only ask.
The worst that can happen is they say 'no'.
Do you have a valid reason for starting the negotiations at £100 when they say £350?
If you don't, I'd start thinking about what you're going to say to them.
Depending on the spec of the PC and its performance over the lease period, might you be better buying a new one (unless you can't afford to)?0 -
£350's worth of computer is a lot more now than it was at the start of your lease, I'll bet - have a look at the new market. Maybe they'll sell you just the hard drive for (say) £50 so you can keep all your files?0

Just buy a memory stick (or two) and copy your data. Then negotiate."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
