Metro Bank Updated Website

Options
I noticed whilst checking my account this morning (using Internet Explorer) that you can now access the website using Chrome and Safari amongst others.

I did log in using Chrome (my default browser) successfully after a few attempts but can't seem to get back in.

Is anyone else having difficulties accessing the site using a browser other than IE?

My sort code is 23-05-80. I opened the account when they only had the one branch.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

So when are they going to update the website to allow people to apply online?

I mean really. In branch applications only? I'm sorry; it isn't the 70's.

You can apply for the ISA account by post

    https://www.metrobankonline.co.uk/Documents/CASH%20ISA/Cash%20Individual%20Savings%20Account%20%28ISA%29%20Direct%20Application%20Form_5.11.11.pdf

The current account requires a photo to be taken in branch

The current account appears to be a glorified savings account with debit card and chequebook , they do not appear to use behaviour scores

The ISA application form confirms the ID required , photo ID is not required contrary to other posts on the forum

I believe it's a deliberate strategy during their early stages to keep customer growth managable.

open an ISA by post (with the minimum balance) and you will be able to see how the internet banking functions - which may put you off applying for a current account
