No deposit renting scheme

Hi,
We are looking to rent a property and would like to find a "No deposit" renting solution as we are struggling to find the extra cash for a deposit and desperately want to move. Does anyone have any experience with the following company/website? (tenantdeposit.com)...
Any help/advice regarding this scheme (or advise on alternate schemes/routes) would be gratefully received.
Thank you.
Liz.

in my opinion someone who doesnt have enough spare cash to save up for a deposit is not likely to make most landlord choice of a tenant because it indicates that if you have some financial concerns whilst in the property you probably aint going to be able to afford the rent.Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0

This scheme sounds like an insurance-based one. The long-term costs are going to be massive compared to saving up a deposit in the conventional way. An overdraft facility or a bank loan would cost much, much less overall. If you can't save anything you are going to be a very poor prospect to any landlord.
Perhaps you should pop over to the Debt-Free Wannabe part of the forum and post up your SOA for help and advice to cut you outgoings in order to get some savings behind you.0 -
Hi
You might also try your local council, some have schemes to provide / guarantee deposits.0
